The tales and texts on this site are intended for personal and educational use. You may read the pages, share them by link, and use them in the classroom. Copying full texts for commercial purposes or republishing without attribution is not permitted.

Sources and folk culture

Many tales come from oral tradition and public heritage. We name the region for each tale and, where possible, the source.

If you create an account you are responsible for your login details.
