The Man with Seven Heads
Along the edge of the Sentier de l’Etrange stands a haunting sculpture: one body with seven different heads, each with its own expression. This is the Man with Seven Heads, a mysterious figure from the deepest magic of Ellezelles.

The Man with Seven Heads was a scholar who wanted to look too deeply into the witches’ magic. Instead of seeing one glimpse of magical truth, he wanted to see everything at once. So the witches cursed him – they gave him seven heads, each with its own consciousness, each seeing a different aspect of reality.
One head sees the past, another the future. One sees love, another sees hate. The middle one, wisdom, forever tries to keep them balanced.

On full moons, people sometimes hear seven different voices speaking from the sculpture, each uttering a truth.
